A Church home where you can feel at home! (Overview)
At Shepherd's Vineyard, we truly believe that you should come as you are. We
want our members and guests to feel as comfortable as they would in their own
home when they are in the house of the Lord. We want everyone as relaxed as
much as possible when showing and sharing their devotion to God. At our
Fellowship we welcome you and any baggage or sins that you may have. As
pastor, I will be the first to tell you that none of us are perfect, nevertheless with
God's guidance we can work toward perfection and lead more fulfilling Christ-like
lives. With any change, resistance can surface, but we are committed at the
Vineyard to help subdue it during this continuous transition of growth as a
Christian. Again, when we say come as you are, we mean it. If you want to wear
a fancy suit, that's okay; if you want to wear casual clothing, that's okay; if you
want to wear jeans; that's okay, we simply want you in service with us. We are
interested in the Christian life you are trying to wear - not your clothing.
Regardless of your background, ethnicity, social or economic status, you are
welcome.

Come as a visitor, leave as family! We encourage you to come out and experience the joy of worshiping God in a relaxed, family type atmosphere. May God Bless you all!

Shepherd's Vineyard Christian Church "A Place where God's Word is Planted and Christians Grow"
|
Disclaimer: We are in no way associated with the Association of Vineyard Churches (AVC USA). We are a
Non-Denominational, Independent Church body that operates as such without any intended or implied
connection with AVC USA.
We are focused on changing lives one step at a time. Our focus is on helping people to understand that God
accepts them as they are, with whatever faults, shortcomings, or dysfunctions they may have and to encourage
them to accept God. We have a true desire to have our members stand out not simply by what they say, but
what they do. It is our commitment to teach our members that they can live their lives without shame and
through growth in God's word they can be transformed and mature Christians. Collectively, we are interested
in helping the overlooked, under-appreciated, and unaccepted to cultivate a relationship with Jesus and grow
with God.
Pastor & Sister Westley

Mission Statement
We aim to plant the word of Christ in the hearts of many, train and teach so that
many more may be reached.
Vision
Shepherd’s Vineyard aims to be a Christian Church that reaches out to non-believers of the Christian lifestyles,
virtues, morals, and beliefs. We aim to gather non-believers and believers of Christ in an effort to unify all in
the belief and spirit of the Lord. We aim to spread the gospel of Christ to believers through the power of the
Holy Spirit and biblical instruction, with an intent to cause non-believers to seek conversion. We intend on
spreading this gospel through worship, media, and word of mouth.
We see a future in which people will be able to worship at home as well as they can in a corporate church
environment. We see a future whereby people are comfortable incorporating technology as a means to reach all
for Christ in an effort to share his desire for them to receive salvation. We see a future whereby people will be
enthusiastic and proud to proclaim the gospel of Christ not simply because it is popular, expected of them, or
the thing to do, but because they have a genuine relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and desire
to do so. It is because of this relationship, that we foresee people casually but graciously proclaiming the word
of God and bringing many into his presence as they are able to be themselves and influence others.
Statement of Basic Beliefs
We affirm the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God and the basis for our beliefs. This church subscribes to
the belief that the Holy Bible is a true and accurate guide that we are to follow as believers. We voluntarily
band ourselves together as a church in Jesus Christ personally committed to sharing the good news of God’s
saving grace to those who do not believe or may not understand the gift. The ordinances of this church are
baptism (by sprinkling, pouring, or immersion) and the Lord’s Supper.
Church Covenant
Having been lead as we believe by the Spirit of God to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior
and, on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the
Holy Spirit, we do now in the presence of God and this assembly most solemnly and joyfully enter into
covenant with one another as one body in Christ.
We commit, therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit to walk together in Christian love; to strive for the
advancement of this church in knowledge, holiness, and comfort; to promote its prosperity and spirituality; to
sustain its worship, ordinances, doctrines, and discipline; to contribute willfully and consistently to the
support of the ministry, the expenses of this church, charitable causes, and the spread of the Word of God to
as many people and populations as we are enabled.
We also commit to maintain family and secret devotions; to religiously educate our children; to seek the salvation
of our kindred and acquaintances; to walk cautiously, carefully, and prudently in the world; to be just in our
dealings, faithful in our commitments, and exemplary in our behavior; to avoid all idle talk, chatter, gossip,
harsh verbiage, and excessive anger; to abstain from immoral and illegal acts and behavior; to be passionate and
eager in our efforts to advance the kingdom of our Savior Jesus Christ.
We further engage to watch over one another in brotherly and sisterly love; to remember one another in prayer;
to aid one another in sickness and distress; to foster growth for Christian sympathy in feeling and Christian
courtesy in speech; to be slow to take offense, but always ready for reconciliation and mindful of the rules of
our Savior Jesus Christ to secure it without delay.
We moreover commit that when we depart from this church, we will as soon as possible unite with some other
church where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God’s Word.
Real people with real challenges and real solutions.
Shepherd's Vineyard is a Christian Church that blends some of the traditional values of the Church of
yesterday with the modern values of today. This fellowship was created to fill the need of having a local
church that is interactive with our fast paced society, yet remains committed to providing sound Christian
guidance using the Holy Bible as our guide. We are committed to providing people with real solutions to the
real problems that challenge us today. We are also committed to spreading God's word to believers and
non-believers so that it becomes a part of their daily life.
Committed to Helping You Grow !
At the Vineyard we are committed to planting God's words and guidance in your hearts, souls, and minds
making it a part of your daily life. We are committed to growing people and in turn believe God will help us
grow as a ministry. Our intent is to provide biblical guidance from a practical point of view to those in our
attendance with hopes that they will grow into stronger Christian's empowered to go out and influence others
to take the walk and make the commitment to Christianity. We want you to know that we love you and we
pray for you all. May the grace of God be with you on your journey.
